Frequently Asked Questions

1.  How often does my child visit the library?

Students in kindergarten through grade four will visit the library every four days.


2.  How many books can my child check out?

Students in kindergarten and first grade may check out one book at a time.

Students in grades two through four may check out two books at a time.

3.  How long can my child keep a library book?

The loan period for all students is one week.   


4.  What is the overdue book policy?

There are no fines for overdue books, however books must be returned before new material can be checked out.


5.  What if a library book is lost or damaged?

If library materials are lost or damaged, they must be paid for in full.  


6.  Can my child check out books at times other than their classroom library time?

YES! With their teachers' permission, students are welcome to exchange their books at any during open library time.
